Official Partnership Announcement
ACUMEN Sports Management Limited is proud to announce a strategic partnership with AD Alcorcón International Academy, part of the Spanish professional club AD Alcorcón.
What This Partnership Means for Players
The partnership establishes a structured pathway for adult players aged 18 and above from Nigeria and West Africa to access professional development opportunities in Spain through the AD Alcorcón C senior pathway.
- Structured trial and evaluation programmes with AD Alcorcón technical staff
- Full-season development options within the club's international academy setup
- Federation licence registration pathway for eligible players
- Residential accommodation and meal packages available
- Ongoing player monitoring and assessment by ACUMEN
Focused on Adult Players
ACUMEN has taken a deliberate decision to open this pathway to adult players (18+). This ensures full compliance with FIFA regulations on international transfers and provides a cleaner, legally sound route for players seeking professional opportunities abroad.
Pre-Approval Before Commitment
Under the partnership, ACUMEN submits each player's profile, football CV, and video highlights directly to AD Alcorcón's technical staff for pre-approval before any commitment is made by the player or family. This protects both parties and ensures only the right fit is forwarded.
A Long-Term Pathway
This is not a one-off placement arrangement. ACUMEN and AD Alcorcón are working towards a sustained, transparent pathway for African football talent, with structured reviews after the pilot phase.
For more information about the pathway or to submit a player profile, contact ACUMEN Sports Management.
